Testimony & declaration for financial breakthrough

I woke up immediately feeling the exhaustion of thought resulting from the past few days. I was at the end of my stores, I did not have money for more than a day or two for my general needs & fuel to get around and even get to church. I did not receive my salary the month before and it was still 3 weeks before the next expected income. I got up that day knowing this is not what God wants for me, knowing it was the enemy that was at work stealing from me. Stealing from my peace, my joy, my opportunities… 

I sat with Jesus that morning before the sun came up and felt His Word restoring my identity and  reminding me of what my inheritance as a child of God holds – and also of what is already MINE!

“Father, I know You are a Good Father, I know You will look after me…I place my trust once again in You and You alone,” I said through a few tears. “Thank You that You always come through and that You always make a way where there seems to be no way, would You do it again?”

At that moment I felt how Holy Spirit turned my weariness into power as I stepped into the authority Jesus gave me and boldly fought this lack with the sword of His Word. 

“I will not worry about what I will eat or what I will drink or what I will wear for I know that my Father knows what I need, Your Word says that if I seek first the Kingdom and Your Righteousness ALL will be added. I thank You that those who passionately pursue the Lord will not lack any good thing. I thank You that You will fully satisfy every need I have. I thank You that Your Word will never return to You without succeeding in the matter You sent it for. I bind all evil spirits that is holding back my breakthrough right now and I declare that I will have all that I need in Jesus name! I trust You, Father. Amen.”

I felt peace returning to my heart & mind. Joyfully I took on the day’s tasks. It was not even noon when I received an unexpected message that almost half of my salary from the previous month was paid into my bank account. I was so surprised and praised God. I was in awe of what He just did for me! Oh, His love for us! 

“Do you see the power of My Living Word?” I heard Holy Spirit whisper in the quiet. That day I was reminded of the wonderful, all-powerful weapon God gave us to step in and contend for what is ours as we release His Word over every challenge that may arise in our life.
